Hello sculptors! On the 5th and 6th of October, I'll be taking you to the Museum of Contemporary Art to see a show of Alexander Calder's art. Hello everyone! I neglected this blog for about a year-- but no more! Tis year I'm hoping to make this site a vibrant part of our class discussions. Articles will be posted along with students responses. Everyone in the class will have opportunities to contribute to the conversation.

looks like I'm not the only one excited about the Exquisite City. The show,plus an additional few, have been invited to exhibit at the Chicago Tourism Center. This makes me think,"Field Trip!"

hey y'all- I'm posting this saturday morning-- hopefully you've looked at this blog already. If not, here are some pointers for our "final".

1. Scroll all the way through, and don't miss the video at the bottom (Fibonacci Numbers)

2. Look at the links, and get familiar with the artists associated with them.

3.be sure to look at "Exquisite City". Think of ways we might make a miniature golf course, using a  similar approach.
